2024 OSCF State Championship qualifier.
Date: April 6, 2024 (Saturday), 10:00am - 3:30pm PDT.
Check in: 10am-10:20am
Round 1: 10:30am
Round 2: 11:30am
Round 3: 1:00pm
Round 4: 2:00pm
Awards: 3:15pm. Actual times may be slightly different.)
Place: Village Church Gym (330 SW Murray Blvd, Beaverton, OR 97005).
Format: 4 round Swiss, G25+5 (each player has 25 minutes with 5-second increment after each move). Three sections (U600, U900, and Open). Section cutoffs may change based on average player strength, and sections may be merged.
Prize: Trophies & medals. (1st-3rd Trophies, best female trophy, even and plus medals)

Roshen’s Chess Academy Scholastic K-12 Chess Tournament
2024 OSCF State Championship Qualifier
Roshen’s Chess Academy invites you to a tournament that benefits the Oregon Chess Federation (OCF), Portland Chess Club (PCC), HECSA, and the local businesses at Lloyd Center. 100% of all proceeds (minus operating expenses) go to Oregon Chess Federation, Portland Chess Club & HECSA.
Entry fee: $30. REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 12 PM (NOON) ON FRIDAY, MARCH 29th,2024. No entrees will be accepted after that. Please register using the following link: https://tinyurl.com/Roshen Chess Academy Tournament.
The first 16 players for each tournament with a USCF rating of 1000 or above will enjoy FREE entry into our tournaments. Also, as a promotion to female players, if a female player wins half or more of their games in any of our tournaments, they will get a FREE entry in the following month’s tournament. The associated costs will be covered by the Roshen Nair Foundation.
Format: 4-round US Chess rated Swiss tournament. Open to all scholastic chess players.
Time control: G/25;+5 (25 minutes per player with 5 seconds added after each move).

* Medals for all plus scorers (who score at least 2.5 out of the 4 rounds)
