The Preconditions of Attacking a Castled King - Puddletown FREE Webinar

An attack on the castled king cannot be successfully carried out on the basis of the attacker's wishes or 'brilliance' alone, but the essential conditions must also be present. The preconditions are: control of the center; prevention of counter play on the queen side; proper posting of the attacker's pieces; weakening the castled King's defenses. We will discuss these preconditions using examples from classical games.
