More advanced scholastic players in Oregon often play most of their games against adults at USCF-only rated events. When those events meet the OSCF qualifier standards, even these events will help get you to Seaside. Pulling that information requires managing a whole different database, though, and it takes a little extra work to pull it all in.
As of 1 am on Feb. 22, however, these USCF-rated-only OSCF qualifiers have been taken into account, and an additional 19 players have qualified for State, bringing the grand total to 290 qualified players. The complete updated list of qualified players is here. If you’re not on the list, you can still qualify. If you are, get yourself registered early, because the early deadline is only 38 days away!
