- Saturday, September 20th: Chess players of all ages, beginner to advanced, are invited to play in the Coquille Chess Tournament at the Coquille High School Library. Registration is 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. for this all day event. Fee is $10 and trophies will be given out for Elementary, Middle School, High School and Adult divisions. Players rated over 1200 play in the Elite Division and compete for cash prizes. Tournament is NWSRS rated.
- Sunday, September 21st: Chess players of all ages, beginner to advanced, are invited to play in the Coquille Chess Tournament at the Coquille High School Library. Registration is 1:00 to 1:30 p.m. for this all afternoon event. Fee is $10 and compete for cash prizes. Tournament is NWSRS rated.
