Puddletown (a registered 501c3 non-profit) is very excited to announce their first tournament (Quad style) of 2023. After a great 2022 with many quad tournaments and a brand new training program that just kicked off in 2023, they are ramping up for another year of serving the chess community!

- Date: January 22nd, 2023 (Sunday)
- Time: 2pm-6pm
- Place: Godfather’s Pizza (11140 SW Barnes Rd, Portland, OR 97225)
- Other Details:
- USCF-Rated Chess Tournament, 2023 OSCF State Champion qualifier.
- Format: Quads, play players with similar ratings/strength
- Rounds: 3
- Time Control: G25+5 (each player has 25 minutes with 5-second increment for each move)
- Prize: 1st place for each quad gets a trophy or Puddletown T-shirt
- Free game analysis with WIM Zoey and top Oregon scholastic players Ishaan & Austin
- Free pizza for players
- Qualifier for the 2023 OSCF State Championship
- Entry Fee & Registration:
- Entry fee: $25, Paypal: puddletownchess@gmail.com . Please put the player’s FULL name and USCF ID (if any) in the Paypal note. For students on Free/Reduced Lunch we provide free entry.
- Preregistration only, no on-site registration
- US Chess membership is required, which can be purchased on the US Chess website (www.uschess.org) or during registration: US Chess membership rates/information/benefits
