OSCF Individual State Championship on April 9-10, 2021 (Registration is closed)

The OSCF State Championship is the premier scholastic chess tournament in the state. OSCF will hold the 2021 State Individual and Team Championships Online via lichess.org and zoom. 

Eligible players: All Oregonians in grades K-12 may play in the individual and team tournaments. There is no requirement this year for any qualifying tournaments or specified number of games.

[NOTE: The most advanced players in high school (1600+) and middle school (1400+) get long time-controls and begin play Friday evening, April 9. All others play all their games on Saturday, April 10.] See the 2021 Individual State Championship Details and Rules document for all the details.

Winners of the High School Platinum (Elite) section will be nominated to be Oregon’s representative to the Denker Tournament of High School Champions; Middle School Platinum (Elite) for the Barber Tournament of K-8 Champions; and Elementary School Platinum (Elite) for the Rockefeller Tournament of Elementary School Champions.
