The latest list of top Oregon scholastic players is now published. Notable changes: Alexandra Botez (Clackamas) still sits atop the list, but Calvin Parnon (Corvallis) and David Wen (Corvallis) both had recent breakthroughs and are on the verge of topping 1900 and making a run at Alexandra. Aaron Grabinsky (Coquille) continues his meteoric rise to crack 1700 and land in the top ten. After not playing in a tournament for quite awhile, Yogi Saputra (Albany) has emerged with a vengeance, joining the 1600 club and eager to challenge the top players.
