In addition to the Grizzly Classic in Salem and the Chess for Fanconi Anemia fundraiser on March 2, the Forest Park Chess Club will be holding a tournament that day, too.  Online registration is up and running, with regular registration through February 27th, and late registration through Thursday, Feb. 28th.  Cash prizes of up to $100 will be awarded in the Elite section. In the Rooks, Knights, Bishops and Pawns sections, there will be individual awards for the top 5 players as well as first and second place for teams.
