Results are in at the Elementary Nationals in Dallas!

USCF website mentioned that a new record of 2,224 players played in Elementary National mega-event in Dallas nine sections.

Among them there were six Oregon representative’s: Sharan, Praveer (K5), Zhang, Gavin (K5), Crane, Elliot James (K5), Samudrala, Nikhil (K5 U900), Gauthier, Avril (K5 U900) and Siddiqui, Yusef (K5).

Not long time ago, at the High School Nationals, all the Oregon representative come back with extra rating points, not sure if any other state can brag about something like that. At this nationals, Oregon did it again!

Silver Knight Chess Club – Mother’s Day Quads

Mother’s Day is a celebration honoring mothers and motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society.

Your mother can celebrate while you can play in the tournament. Tournament host “Pettite Patisserie” is running a special Mother’s Day Menu the entire day:
–  “Breakfast in Bed” (Pick-up between 7 AM – 9 AM)
–  “Breakfast a la Carte Menu”
–  “Brunch (9 AM – 1 PM)
