4th Annual KFE Benefit Tournament on Nov. 12 – Registration Deadline Extended!

This OSCF Qualifier tournament is a benefit for the food pantry at Bethlehem House of Bread, a local community center  that provides food, community garden, school supplies, and a clothing closet for hundreds of families every year. Please help out the BHOB Food Pantry by bringing toilet tissue and/or nonperishable food items. All proceeds from snacks and pizza concessions will go directly to BHOB. This tournamhouse-of-breadent honors chess queen Kris Field-Eaton (KFE), a long-time leader for chess in the Sherwood school district.

FIDE World Chess Federation Master CHUCK SCHULIEN will play multiple players simultaneously in the skittles room in the afternoon! Chuck is a favorite local coach and player, come play him or watch the fun.

Concessions, coffee shop open. Registration Deadline Extended to Friday, November 11 at 5 p.m. Sorry, no on-site registration this year.

5th Annual Clackamas K-12 Open on October 29

OSCF 2017 State Qualifier!

This event will feature generous awards for place and plus score finishers. The tournament is also a team event with Trophies to the top three Elementary, Middle, and High Schools.  The number of players from one school is not limited but only the top four scorers will be counted toward the team total. DSC_1288The tournament will award $4,200 in door prizes!

Food and drink items will be provided by one of Clackamas’s student clubs, and will be open during most of the tournament for your refreshment. Check in from 8:15-8:45 am. First round at 9 am.
