The Hillsdale Farmers’ Market — one of Portland’s premier farmers’ markets — takes place just outside from 10-2pm, so come early for fresh veggies and lunch, and stay for chess! This is a great opportunity to get your chess brain started for the school year, to get a qualifier in for the OSCF State tournament (coming in April 2014) and to improve your chances of making the Summer All-Stars list!  More info and online registration can be found here.
